Yellow Crookneck is an heirloom dating to around 1700, producing yellow, bulb-shaped fruits with a narrow, curved neck; skin becomes bumpy and warted on larger fruits but flavor is best when harvested at no longer than 6 inches. It remains a consistently popular summer squash variety.
