On the harvest task itself. Every planting in your calendar already carries a dated harvest task, so you open it, enter what you picked and carry on - and you can log the same planting again every time it produces. You can also manually add entries directly in the records page itself as well.
A kitchen scale is the easy way, but rough numbers still add up to a useful season. The point is the shape of the year - which crops carried the garden and when - and that survives a few estimates. Weighing gives you the most accurate answers through the season.
From what you logged. We set a standard value for most crops and you can change or edit it in the records page to set your own custom values. Each harvest is valued when you log it, so the season total reads in dollars as well as pounds (or kg) - which is what turns "the garden did well" into a number you can say out loud.
