Color progresses from yellow to yellow orange to crimson red. Fruits are mostly four lobed, measuring about 2.5 by 3 inches, with thick flesh and an upright growth habit on the plant. Plants have heavy foliage, compact growth, and are very attractive. In Southern areas, fully ripe peppers may develop fungus in the seed cavity during hot weather. This is a first class salad pepper that is very reliable and highly productive.
