Tropic VFN was developed by the University of Florida and is exceptionally well suited to hot, humid, disease-prone areas, particularly where blight is a problem. This versatile indeterminate variety works well as a garden, greenhouse, or market tomato, producing sweet-flavored 8–9 oz fruits that are thick-walled and tend to sit high on the vine under a protective cover of foliage.
