Stone Mountain is a Southern heirloom from 1923 that was a commercial bestseller through the 1930s and 1940s, producing slightly oval fruits averaging around 30 pounds with a dark green rind and sweet, juicy red flesh. Its thick, split-resistant rind makes it an excellent choice for shipping and storage.
