Seminole Squash (Cucurbita moschata) is a vigorous, disease-resistant variety producing bell-shaped, buff-colored fruits about 6 inches in diameter with firm, deep-orange flesh that is sweeter than Butternut. The fruits can keep for up to one year at room temperature, and the variety shows excellent tolerance to Downy Mildew and resistance to vine borers, making it a great option for hot, humid, and disease-prone climates. It can be harvested young as a summer squash or left to mature for long-term storage.
