Growing tips

🌱Direct sow in early spring as soon as soil can be worked, or succession sow every 3–4 weeks for continuous harvest. Parade also performs well in fall — sow 8–10 weeks before first frost for a late-season crop.

☀️Plant in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil. Sow thickly and thin to 1–2" apart. The perfectly upright habit means no tangled stalks — rows stay clean and easy to manage all season.

💧Keep soil consistently moist, especially during germination. Bunching onions have shallow roots — mulch lightly to retain moisture and suppress weeds without smothering the seedlings.

✂️Harvest when stalks reach pencil thickness or larger. The no-bulbing habit and upright growth make cleaning fast — just rinse, trim, and they’re ready. Use raw in salads, grilled whole, or sliced into soups and stir-fries.
