Stowell Evergreen Corn is a legendary American heirloom introduced in 1853 after years of careful refinement, and it remains one of the finest white sweet corns ever developed — the 8–9 inch ears are filled with sweet, rich, milky-white kernels on tall, drought-tolerant stalks that have made this variety a beloved garden staple for over 170 years. The 'evergreen' name refers to how the kernels stay in the milky, sweet stage longer than most varieties, extending the fresh eating window.
