Roma II Bush Bean is a vigorous, disease-resistant heirloom producing flat, broad, green 5–6 inch pods with a tender, meaty texture and a clean, mild flavor that's excellent fresh, steamed, or preserved by canning and freezing. The flat pod format is classic Italian-style — excellent quickly sautéed with olive oil and garlic or slow-braised with tomatoes and herbs in the authentic Italian manner.
