Growing tips

🌱Direct sow after last frost when soil reaches 60°F. Muncher is container friendly — a 5-gallon pot with a small trellis works great on a patio or balcony for a full season of cucumbers.

🧱Trellis for best results — vertical growing keeps fruit straight, improves air circulation, and makes harvesting easy. Muncher’s compact vines are well-suited to smaller trellis setups.

💧Water deeply and consistently at the base. Cucumbers are mostly water — uneven moisture leads to bitter fruit. Drip irrigation or deep watering every 2–3 days keeps them at their best.

✂️Harvest at 4–6" for peak flavor and texture. Pick regularly to keep plants producing late into the season — Muncher is one of the most persistent producers you’ll grow, delivering right up until frost.
