Growing tips

🌱Start indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors after last frost in full sun. Bury the stem deep — tomatoes root along their buried stem, creating a stronger, more drought-resistant plant.

🧱Stake or cage at planting time. Indeterminate plants keep growing all season and need support to keep heavy 1 lb. fruit off the ground and improve air circulation.

💧Water deeply and consistently — 1–2" per week. Inconsistent moisture causes blossom end rot and cracking. Mulch heavily to retain soil moisture and regulate temperature.

🍅Harvest when fully red and slightly soft to the touch. Perfect for sauce — roast a batch with garlic and olive oil, then blend for a rich homemade marinara that tastes nothing like the jar.
