Firecracker Ornamental Pepper is a showstopping container plant with abundant, upright-pointing fruits that ripen through yellow, orange, and brilliant red in a continuous display — the clusters of multicolored peppers resemble lit firecrackers and make this one of the most festive and attractive ornamental plants available. At 30,000–45,000 Scoville units the fruits are genuinely hot, and while primarily ornamental they can be used to add serious fire to hot sauces and salsas.
