Butterflay Spinach is an exceptional open-pollinated variety with large, glossy, dark green semi-savoy leaves developed by crossing American and Viroflay spinach for the best of both — extra-hardy, nutritious, and generous in yield. The round, substantial leaves are excellent raw in salads, wilted with garlic and olive oil, or blended into smoothies where their rich flavor and deep color make every glass more vibrant. A cold-tolerant variety that keeps producing reliably from spring through fall.
