One of the most productive, disease-resistant, and widely adapted heirloom sweet peppers available, Jimmy Nardello's Italian Pepper bears tapered banana-shaped fruits that are multi-dimensionally sweet and intensely flavored, measuring 3/4 to 1-1/4 inches at the shoulder and 5 to 8 inches long. The thin-walled fruits are excellent for drying, frying, freezing, relishes, or salads, and are considered the best sweet variety for drying. Plants grow to 3 feet tall.
