Homestead 24 is a semi-determinate red tomato developed in 1966 for hot, humid coastal areas — especially Florida — that also performs well in the Mid-Atlantic region, where it reliably sets fruit at high temperatures. The 8 oz fruits are slightly flattened globes, making this a reliable and productive variety for challenging summer climates.
