German Chamomile
German Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) features sweet-scented flowers used to make chamomile tea, which has a distinctive apple-like flavor and fragrance. Medicinally, chamomile has long been used as a carminative and anti-inflammatory remedy to protect gastric mucous membranes, and it is also anti-spasmodic, anti-microbial, and used as a nasal wash to treat sinusitis.
