Edmonson Pickling Cucumber
Edmonson is a family heirloom from Kansas dating to 1913, and one of the hardiest cucumbers available, with good resistance to disease, insects, and drought. The 4-inch whitish-green fruits have a buttery flavor and a crisp, tender texture even when past prime. Best for pickles, but widely used for fresh slicing as well.
