Developed in 1949 by SC/AES and possibly originating from the pre-1855 Early Valentine variety, this cultivar is celebrated as a premier early green bean offering excellent flavor and abundant yield. The 5½-inch pods showcase resilience under adverse conditions and adaptability for greenhouse cultivation. This variety is notably resistant to common bean mosaic virus and tolerant of powdery mildew.
