This Dutch variety was judged the best Boston-type lettuce in the 1983 Rodale Research Center trials, with excellent heat and cold tolerance plus resistance to lettuce mosaic virus. It produces loose, light green heads with a nice buttery flavor, and has earned consistent high praise from customers as one of our personal favorites.
