One of the few peppers that reliably produces well in the short Smoky Mountain growing season of 150 days or less, this incredibly sweet pimento features bright red, thick-fleshed fruits measuring 4 x 1½ inches. It is excellent raw and well suited for cooking, roasting, and canning. Compact plants reach 24–30 inches tall.
