[1987, U. of Hawaii. Anuenue is Hawaiian for “rainbow” (pronounced “ah-nu-ee-nu-ee”).] This variety produces seed capable of germinating at higher soil temperatures (above 80°F). It resembles a crisphead lettuce with bright, glossy green leaves and is both heat-tolerant and bolt-resistant. Recommended for all lettuce growing seasons.
