Seven Top (Southern Prize) Turnip Greens
Dating to before 1880, Seven Top is a popular Southern variety grown for winter greens rather than its roots, which are woody. Leaves grow 18 to 22 inches tall and should be harvested when young and tender for the best quality. This variety is included in Slow Food USA's Ark of Taste.
