Grey Zucchini is a 1950s Italian heirloom with distinctive grey-green, speckled skin and a mild, buttery flavor that's slightly richer and more complex than standard dark green zucchini. The compact plants produce abundantly in a small footprint, making this an excellent choice for smaller gardens, and the fruits develop their finest flavor and texture when harvested at 6–8 inches. A heat-resistant variety that thrives in warm summer conditions while remaining productive over a long season.
