Jaloro is a colorful yellow jalapeño developed at Texas A&M, and one of the best performers in the 2018 jalapeño trials. The 1½ by 2-inch fruits are juicy with thick walls and medium heat — milder than a standard jalapeño. Plants are shorter than typical jalapeño varieties, making Jaloro a good container option, with bigger early harvests.
