Cosmos, Mona's Orange
Cosmos Mona's Orange, introduced in 1990 by SESE from a family heirloom originating in southern California, produces radiant orange, mostly single-petalled blooms 2–2½ inches wide on vigorous 6–7 foot plants that bloom all summer with remarkable hardiness. About 10 percent of flowers display red-bordered petals with interior red streaks, adding welcome variation to the vivid display.
