Common Buckwheat
A warm-season cover crop that builds soil, smothers weeds, and attracts beneficial insects with its abundant white flowers. Buckwheat establishes rapidly and suppresses competing vegetation efficiently, then winter-kills in most climates for easy incorporation. An excellent short-window cover crop between cash crops that also serves as a superb pollinator habitat.
