Growing tips

🌱Direct sow after last frost when soil reaches 60°F. Supersweet varieties need isolation from other corn types — plant at least 250' away or time plantings 2+ weeks apart to prevent cross-pollination.

🌽Plant in blocks of at least 4 rows rather than single long rows to ensure good pollination and full ear fill.

💧Water consistently, especially during tasseling and silking. Drought stress at pollination is the #1 cause of poor tip fill.

✂️Harvest when silks are brown and dry and kernels are plump and milky. Supersweet types hold their sweetness longer than standard sweet corn — great for markets and CSA boxes.
