Preserved through four generations of Violet Brady Westbrook's family in Banks County, Georgia, this heirloom lima bean was introduced more broadly by SESE in 2009. The seeds display a striking rainbow of colors — cream, beige, red-brown, and violet-purple — decorated with speckles and swirls, and offer excellent flavor both fresh and dried. The semi-bush plants show strong resistance to disease and drought, making this variety both beautiful and reliable in the garden.
